Our service


LADES proposes a complete offer for groundwater dating with :.


  • On site sampling with a dedicated material by our team care (in drillings, collectings, piezometers and possibly sources)

  • Conductivity, temperature, pH and dissolved oxygen are measured directly on site to allow representativeness of the sampling

  • Laboratory analyses :

  • Chlorofluorocarbons (CFC-12, CFC-11 and CFC-113)
  • Sulfur hexafluoride (SF6)
  • Noble gases (for SF6 correction)

    • Other analyses (chemical or isotopes) are realized by partnership.

  • Analyses report indicating concentration of each gases and the age estimation if data allows it (no contamination nor degradation)



    • The data should not be used without the help of an expert-hydrogeologist in order to replace the results in the appropriated context of YOUR site.


    Dr. Virginie VERGNAUD, LADES manager and hydrogeologist specialized in groundwater age and origin, can carry out this valuation.



    Note that each analysis could be realized separately for a special project like tracing of pumping test. We can also realize the sampling for other laboratory while sampling for dating.
